How to Understand Different Delivery Types

When looking at a scheduled email's distribution you'll want to understand the different types of delivery methods and status which are outlined below.  Additionally, the chart is interactive allowing you to zoom in and out along with selecting and unselecting different delivery methods to display the status of each.

  • Predicted Scheduled - These are the people that Seventh Sense has determined an optimal time for within the scheduled delivery window to receive their email.
  • Predicted Sent - These are the people that had a predicted send time that Seventh Sense has successfully completed sending to HubSpot or Marketo.
  • Random Scheduled - These are the people that Seventh Sense has no data on and therefore picks a random time.  This is a link to a knowledge base article that explains why and how Seventh Sense uses randomization.
  • Random Sent - These are the people that had a randomized send time that Seventh Sense has successfully completed sending to HubSpot or Marketo.
  • Random Override Scheduled - These are the people that Seventh Sense has at least one optimal time for, however, none of them fall within the scheduled delivery window.  For example, if you schedule a mailing over 12 hours and someone has no optimal times within that window, Seventh Sense will select a random time to deliver their email within the window. 
  • Random Override Sent - These are the people that Seventh Sense has at least one  optimal time for, however, not within the delivery window and Seventh Sense has successfully completed sending to HubSpot or Marketo.
