Understanding different delivery types with Marketo mailings

When looking at a scheduled email's distribution you'll want to understand the different types of delivery methods and status which are outlined below.  Additionally, the chart is interactive allowing you to zoom in and out along with selecting and unselecting different delivery methods to display the status of each.

  • Forced scheduled - Seventh Sense account users receive their email at the start of a mailing versus having their email delivery time optimized. This helps to spot potential challenges before a recipient notifies you of the issue or halfway through the mailing you spot it when you receive your email by way of delivery time optimization.
  • Forced sent - This displays once the email has been delivered through Marketo to Seventh Sense account users.
  • Personalized scheduled - These are the people that Seventh Sense has determined a personalized time within the scheduled delivery window to receive their email.
  • Personalized sent - These are the people that had a personalized send time that Seventh Sense has successfully completed delivering the email through Marketo.
  • Predicted scheduled - These are the people that Seventh Sense has no data on and therefore uses a predicted time.
  • Predicted sent - These are the people that had a predicted send time that Seventh Sense has successfully completed delivering the email through Marketo.
