Using Delivery Time Optimization (STO) with HubSpot Batch Mailings (One-off Emails)

 

This knowledge base article details different Delivery Time Optimization (DTO) delivery window options available when using DTO with batch mailings. 

Currently, Seventh Sense offers the following options for integrating Delivery Time Optimization (DTO) with batch mailings in HubSpot which are detailed below.

  • 1 Day Delivery Window - This option is the most commonly used. Once a contact is enrolled and reaches the 1 day delivery window step in the batch mailing campaign, HubSpot will communicate with Seventh Sense to determine the most optimal time within the next day for the contact to proceed to the mailing step in the workflow.
  • 2 Day Delivery Window - Once a contact is enrolled and reaches the 2 day delivery window step in the batch mailing campaign, HubSpot will communicate with Seventh Sense to determine the most optimal time within the next 2 days for the contact to proceed to the mailing step in the workflow.
  • 3 Day Delivery Window - Once a contact is enrolled and reaches the 3 day delivery window step in the batch mailing campaign, HubSpot will communicate with Seventh Sense to determine the most optimal time within the next 3 days for the contact to proceed to the mailing step in the workflow.
  • 5 Day Delivery Window - Once a contact is enrolled and reaches the 5 day delivery window step in the batch mailing campaign, HubSpot will communicate with Seventh Sense to determine the most optimal time within the next 5 days for the contact to proceed to the mailing step in the workflow.
  • 7 Day Delivery Window - Once a contact is enrolled and reaches the 7 day delivery window step in the batch mailing campaign, HubSpot will communicate with Seventh Sense to determine the most optimal time within the next 7 days for the contact to proceed to the mailing step in the workflow.
  • 12 Hour Delivery Window - Once a contact is enrolled and reaches the 12 hour delivery window step in the batch mailing campaign, HubSpot will communicate with Seventh Sense to determine the most optimal time within the next 12 hours for the contact to proceed to the mailing step in the workflow.
  • 2 Day Delivery Window - Once a contact is enrolled and reaches the 2 day delivery window step in the batch mailing campaign, HubSpot will communicate with Seventh Sense to determine the most optimal time within the next 2 days for the contact to proceed to the mailing step in the workflow.
  • Immediate Delivery Window - This option is only to be used for testing purposes as emails will not be send time optimized.  Once a contact is enrolled and reaches the immediate delivery window step in the batch mailing campaign, HubSpot will communicate with Seventh Sense and the system will immediately respond for the contact to proceed to the mailing step in the workflow.

Once you are ready to deploy DTO into your batch mailing, you simply add a Seventh Sense step before the email send step similar to the below.  Once the workflow is set up, you can enroll the list(s) from the top right of the workflow.
