Optimizing Email Frequency and Deliverability in HubSpot

Seventh Sense's machine learning engine is constantly analyzing your incoming email data to make predictions about your audience. In addition to when you should email people, Seventh Sense is also very good at predicting how often you should email in person in your audience to optimize performance.

The easiest way to put this data to use is by using the Seventh Sense Email Health and Frequency Automation workflow action.

Below is an overview of the workflow we'll be building in this article:

Step 1: Add the Health and Frequency Automation workflow

Add the Health and Frequency Automation workflow action by clicking the "+" sign and selecting it from the menu as shown below:

Step 2 - Select your level of optimization

Note: The email health and frequency automation is designed to automatically suppress the right number of people for you to reach optimal email health. To do this, you need to enter your average open rate from the last 30 days. To find this number, view the HubSpot Email Health dashboard.

Select your average open rate from the menu, and press "Save" as shown below:

Step 3 - Add a Simple Branch

The Health and Frequency Automation updates each contact with a custom "Delivery action" property in HubSpot. To make use of this, we'll need to add a simple branch.

Step 4 - Branch on Delivery action

Branch on Delivery action as shown in the images below:

You should now have two branches, one called "Send," and one called "None met" as shown below:

Add an STO step with the time length of your choice below the "Send" branch, and insert your email to complete the workflow.
